Job Description You will be working with me, a 7-year-old girl who enjoys music, dance, film, play, running around in my wheelchair, and nature walks with my manual wheelchair. I always need an adult nearby who interprets and supports, listens and initiates, but also supervises to ensure my safety. During the day, I attend school with my assistant. I am susceptible to infections, so during certain periods we may need to stay home instead of going to school. I need help with toilet visits, showering, dressing and undressing, transfers, tube feeding, inhalations and medication intake, as well as initiatives for play and interaction. My care needs likely involve heavy lifting on your part, so you need to be in good physical condition. I also have extensive mucus issues, so you need to be alert and have the calm to manage stressful situations that can arise related to this. I have my own communication style. You need to be creative, attentive, and responsive to both my subtle signals and body language. It is also important that you speak Swedish well, as in addition to not having spoken language, I have both a severe intellectual disability and reduced vision and hearing. I would appreciate it if you could use alternative communication methods such as sign language or visual support (TAKK). It is important to me that my assistants are cheerful, imaginative, and take their own initiative so that I have a fun and meaningful everyday life with people I can rely on. Who are you?
