The Swedish Defence University's Security Department is now seeking a specialist with a focus on physical security. We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in and knowledge of security and security protection. About the Workplace The Security Department is organized as part of the institution's operational support and includes preparedness, crisis preparedness, security protection, and business continuity. The position is part of the security protection and business continuity area but may also be engaged in other areas. The employment is located in Stockholm. Duties Your responsibilities include managing physical security including physical security at strategic and demanding levels. You will be responsible for developing and implementing requirements based on security protection legislation. Analysis work and advisory services within information security will also be part of your duties, as well as developing methods and processes. In this role, you have many contact points and collaborate with internal and external partners with a focus on continuous development. Through environmental monitoring, you keep yourself updated within your area of expertise. Your duties include: strategically plan physical security at the Swedish Defence University develop and write internal regulations for both business continuity and security protection take responsibility for an analysis-driven approach in accordance with the Swedish Armed Forces' security protection regulations and investigations within the framework of physical security conduct training within the field work with security protection analysis and security protection planning The duties may change over time as the operations develop. About the Employment This is a permanent full-time position that begins with a six-month probationary period. The employment involves placement in a security classification. Upon placement in a security classification, a security clearance with background check will be conducted before employment according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act. Swedish citizenship may be required. The employment may involve war placement. If you are already war-placed in your current employment at an authority and your expertise is needed in the Swedish Defence University's war organization, negotiations will take place between the relevant authority and the Swedish Defence University regarding where you should be placed.
