We are now seeking a network engineer who wants to step directly into one of Europe's most exciting technical environments. In this role, you'll become part of SSC's global network team, with a clear focus on Esrange. You are responsible for ensuring that the networks supporting our rocket, balloon, and satellite missions are stable, secure, and high-performing. The work is varied and includes everything from operations and advanced troubleshooting to development, improvements, and participation in exciting projects linked to Esrange's continued expansion. You work closely with both local and international colleagues and play an important role in developing tomorrow's network solutions in an operation where there is no room for compromise. The role also includes on-call duties on a rotating schedule. You thrive in an environment where quality and safety are paramount and where initiative and responsibility are crucial. Required Qualifications Technical higher education or equivalent experience At least three to five years of experience as a network engineer Experience with IP, VPN including IPsec, routing protocols, and MPLS Experience with routing and switching, as well as firewalls Fluent English, spoken and written Driver's license (Category B) Meritorious Experience with Cisco and/or Palo Alto Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP or equivalent Experience with Cisco ISE and Cisco Catalyst Center Experience with data center environments and techniques such as VXLAN Experience working in security-classified environments or critical infrastructure With us, you'll have a unique opportunity to work in the space industry in an international and technically advanced environment.
