About the Service Habilitation is a specialist service spanning the region with locations at five sites in Dalarna - Falun, Borlänge, Mora, Ludvika, and Avesta. Each unit has Children and Youth Habilitation as well as Adult Habilitation. We work in multidisciplinary teams with medical, psychological, social, and educational expertise. Habilitation has an important and challenging mission to make life more possible for children, youth, and adults with congenital or early-acquired functional impairments, as well as for their loved ones. Our services contribute to a functioning everyday life, good quality of life, and participation in society. Then Children and Youth Habilitation is the workplace for you! We are now seeking a PTP Psychologist with placement at our clinic in Borlänge or Falun. Responsibilities As a psychologist, you will work closely with other professions at Habilitation. Your work with us is varied as you are responsible for psychological treatment work, conducting assessments, making diagnoses and functional evaluations, identifying needs, and providing individually tailored interventions. You will also provide therapeutically oriented interventions and education and support to patients, loved ones, staff, and others in the patient's network. You will be offered an introduction program, access to a mentor and supervisor, and you will participate in a professional team with psychology colleagues in the service. Travel to other clinics in the region may be part of the position and will occur during work hours. Qualifications Requirements: Psychologist in training or psychology degree Meritorious: Previous experience from habilitation services Knowledge of various functional impairments Experience with interviews and assessments in testing methodology Previous work with children Personal Qualities: Since you will be collaborating with other professionals, we place great emphasis on good collaboration skills, social competence, and personal suitability.
