We are seeking a licensed physician who sees specialization in urology as a possible future. The position is time-limited as a licensed physician with good opportunities for transition to a permanent position as a specialist training (ST) position if we are a good fit for each other. The Urology Department has approximately 130 employees, of which just over 20 are physicians. Within the department, we offer all types of urological healthcare - from basic investigation and treatment to highly specialized care and research. The department has its own operating department, outpatient clinic, inpatient ward, and administrative unit. We provide care at Universitetssjukhuset Örebro and Karlskoga Hospital, but are responsible for urology throughout the region in combination with highly specialized care outside the region. We have European certification to conduct ST training in urology. Research is also highly prioritized, and the department has its own research unit.
