Apply for the position here Job Responsibilities As Chief Physician and Assistant Operations Manager, you will play a central role in leading the clinic's continued development. You will combine hands-on leadership with responsibility for driving improvement initiatives, developing workflows, and creating conditions for modern and sustainable urology services. You will have direct management responsibility for approximately twenty physicians and are an important part of the clinic's management team. Together with the Operations Manager and other managers, you will work to translate the clinic's goals and strategies into concrete results in quality, patient safety, working environment, and accessibility. In the coming years, healthcare will face several challenges related to workforce recruitment, care needs, and digitalization, where you will become a key person in the clinic's development work. The role includes, among other things: Lead and develop the clinic's physician group Drive operations development and improvement initiatives Contribute to developing future care processes and workflows Work strategically with workforce recruitment and training Manage staffing, scheduling, working environment, and staff development Drive change initiatives through participation and engagement Contribute to close collaboration between the clinic's different operations in Halland Contribute to sound financial management and efficient resource use You will substitute for the Operations Manager during their absence and therefore have an important role in the clinic's overall leadership. The position encompasses 50% management responsibility. The remaining part involves clinical work as a specialist physician in urology, where you will also participate in the clinic's on-call services. The Urology Clinic consists of approximately 120 committed employees from several professions and operates in Kungsbacka, Varberg, and Halmstad. In Varberg, we operate our 24-hour care services. Together, we work to develop care with the patient in focus, strengthen collaboration between our units, and create an attractive workplace where employees can develop and contribute. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a specialist physician in urology and who wants to combine clinical work with engaged and development-focused leadership. You have a genuine interest in operations development and see the value of creating conditions for both employees and operations to develop. You have the ability to inspire, communicate clearly, and create engagement in change processes. Previous management experience or experience leading development and improvement initiatives is meriting.
