We are now seeking an experienced senior physician in spine surgery who wants to take a leading role in developing the future of spine care at Linköping University Hospital. The position includes responsibility as a section leader with the opportunity to develop the operations in the long term. We want to employ you as a knowledge bearer and driving force in advanced spine surgery at Linköping University Hospital. You will have an important role in shaping the future of spine surgery within the Southeast Healthcare Region. With us, you work in a highly specialized university healthcare setting with strong collegiality and excellent opportunities for development. Our Offer Center for Surgery, Orthopedics and Cancer Care (CKOC) provides healthcare, research and education within orthopedics, surgery, urology, oncology, hematology and pulmonary medicine in Östergötland and within the Southeast Healthcare Region. The Orthopedic Clinic at Linköping University Hospital is a large and well-established operation with approximately 150 employees. The clinic includes an inpatient ward with a teaching ward, outpatient clinic and rehabilitation unit, and provides both acute and planned orthopedic care. In addition to general orthopedics, the clinic's specialty areas are spine surgery, tumor surgery, pediatric orthopedics, and upper and lower extremity surgery, with responsibility for treating patients from the entire Southeast Healthcare Region. We encourage you to read about our career ladder for physicians and also about your benefits with us. Job Description As a senior physician in the spine section, you work in both outpatient and inpatient operations with a focus on advanced spine surgery. The work is interprofessional and team-based with close collaboration with other specialties and regular multidisciplinary conferences. On-call duty is included in the position. The clinic staffs a middle-level on-call, orthopedic backup on-call, and a separate spine backup on-call line 24/7 in support of healthcare providers throughout the Southeast Healthcare Region. You also have an important role in mentoring and competency development within the section. Time is allocated for administration, development work and management tasks. As a university healthcare unit, we prioritize research, with active research in almost all of our specialty areas. There is an opportunity for doctoral education with supervision at the clinic, as well as the opportunity to continue research if you are already a doctor of philosophy. Work Team The spine section's physician group is undergoing an ongoing generational transition, where several senior colleagues work part-time or are approaching retirement, while younger colleagues with a focus on spine surgery are being built up. This creates excellent opportunities for you as a senior physician and section leader to take a clear and long-term role in the operations—clinically, strategically, and as a mentor and knowledge resource. About You As a person, you are receptive, clear in your communication, and enjoy collaborating. You like to share your knowledge and actively contribute to a good work environment. The position includes participation in the clinic's spine backup on-call line as well as some administrative work. You may also hold positions of trust and work actively in research and education. CNC Operator

At Töreboda Mekaniska, you are offered a varied role as a CNC operator where you work in production and progressively take on greater responsibility. Here you combine practical machine work with technical development and the opportunity to follow a component through the entire process from drawing to finished product.
