The most advanced stroke treatment, thrombectomy, is very common with us and we also work with thrombolysis treatment and aftercare. From our stroke observation unit, our alert team consisting of a nurse, nursing assistant, and physician quickly meets the patient in acute care or directly in radiology. On the ward, we work in teams, including student teams, and our stroke unit has a total of 18 care beds. On our second unit, we evaluate patients with difficult-to-treat epilepsy in preparation for possible surgery as well as severe movement disorders in preparation for pump treatment and surgery. Patients come from all over Sweden for planned evaluations at our specially equipped unit, a unit that also has space for acute care beds. In total, we have 14 care beds here. 2 position(s).
