With us, you can make an important difference and contribute to making Linköping a better place. Welcome to us! Your Work Tasks Are you looking for meaningful work where you can use both your pedagogical skills and practical abilities? We are now seeking engaged support assistants/care workers for our operations at Edhaga Farm in Tinnerö Nature Reserve. The day begins with you supporting the service users in their morning routines and personal care. Afterwards, work transitions to the farm's daily activities. Here you work side by side with the service users and guide them in tasks such as: - Care of chickens and gardens - Wood handling and maintenance of the farm's buildings - Household chores such as cooking, shopping, and cleaning The goal is for each individual to grow and use their own abilities. We work based on Positive Behavioral Support (PBS), and as a support assistant/care worker, you assist, structure, and train routines that create safety and participation for our service users. We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role and who appreciates the variation between personal care, managing behavioral challenges, and physical outdoor work. Your Workplace Edhaga Farm is a group home with daily activities for individuals with LSS decisions. We are looking for someone who is not afraid to get their hands dirty and who enjoys being outdoors in fresh air. Together with our five service users, we manage farm life and its animals (chickens). This means you need to be prepared for all types of weather – boots and rain gear are just as essential work tools as your pedagogical and calm approach. You We are looking for someone with a completed upper secondary education. It is an advantage if you are trained in care and support, children's and leisure activities, or an equivalent field. You have previous work experience in support, care, and nursing – preferably specifically within LSS, intellectual disabilities, and challenging behaviors. Since we are an active farm, you need to enjoy physical outdoor work. We would like to see that you have experience with wood handling and carpentry, and it is a plus if you are experienced with animal care (chickens and cats). It is an advantage if you have experience with challenging behavior and a calm approach, as well as knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) such as visual supports or TSS (Signs as Support). You must speak and write Swedish fluently, as documentation and collaboration are central to the role. A class B driving license (automatic/manual) and access to a car are required, as there are no public transportation connections to the facility. The position also includes some travel using the organization's vehicles. As a person, you are confident, self-driven, and take responsibility for moving your work tasks forward, and you have good collaboration skills. Your empathetic ability makes it easy for you to understand others' perspectives, and you are a responsive communicator who can adapt your message to your audience. Other Information You apply with e-ID. Don't have e-ID? Contact the responsible HR consultant or manager, and we will help you. Start Date: Immediately or by agreement Employment Type: 2 permanent positions and 2 temporary assignments until 2027-01-15, and 1 temporary assignment until 2027-05-21 Employment Rate: Permanent positions 100%.
