JOB DUTIES We are seeking a school leader who understands that Swedish schools are undergoing comprehensive change and who has the ability to translate national reforms into functioning local practice. An important part of all assignments is to: • lead operations through change • create stability when many initiatives are underway simultaneously • work strategically with teaching quality, student wellbeing, and safety • develop collaboration from an F9 perspective We want you to demonstrate documented experience in: • leading development and change initiatives in schools • translating governing documents into practical operations • leading collegial learning and pedagogical development • creating structure and direction in complex situations • working strategically with student wellbeing, support, and safety • developing systematic quality work with focus on teaching and results • leading operations through changes while maintaining focus on work environment, collaboration, and quality It is a merit if you have experience in: • large organizational changes • construction or facility projects in school environments • implementation of major national reforms • change management in complex organizations • collaboration between different school levels Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. QUALIFICATIONS Your Leadership We are seeking someone who: • is a clear and confident leader • has strong pedagogical competence • can create trust and direction during change • is analytical and strategic • has excellent collaboration skills • is persistent and organized • can prioritize and create focus when many initiatives are underway simultaneously • sees the value of collaborative leadership and enjoys working closely with Strandängsskolan's principal for grades 7-9, where you together drive the school's development forward. We also believe that you: • see student wellbeing as an integrated part of the school's mission • understand the importance of teaching quality • can balance long-term development with daily operations • lead through dialogue, clarity, and trust Qualifications We are seeking someone who: • has pedagogical higher education • has experience working as a school principal • has completed state principal training • has good knowledge of school governing documents and systematic quality work • has experience leading staff and development processes Employment form: Permanent position.
