DUTIES You now have the opportunity for a position as a wood crafts teacher at Alléskolan, a grades 6-9 school in Floda, Lerum. At Alléskolan, students study practical and aesthetic subjects in periods, meaning we divide the school year into three parts where students take wood crafts during one of those periods. This allows for long work periods with less time wasted on setup and cleanup. It also makes it possible to alternate theory and practice in a way that benefits the overall subject. As a teacher, you have fewer groups working simultaneously, and you assign grades three times during the school year, only once per student. Duties: To teach grades 6-9 with the required tasks associated with the teaching profession. You are a teacher with a strong interest in your subjects and who succeeds in creating curiosity about them in your students. You are a natural leader in the classroom who takes responsibility for creating a positive learning environment and a climate where students dare to try, with the purpose of learning together with other students. The role includes mentoring, in which you have special responsibility for following up and supporting individual students' development, both socially and academically.
