The Primary Care Unit, Näva, in Strömsund is located adjacent to Strömsund Health Center. Näva is a care unit in a rural area with patients in both inpatient care and municipal short-term care, which gives you a good perspective of the entire care chain. Here, nurses and nursing assistants work together around the clock, and there are also rehabilitation staff, physicians, unit managers, cleaners, and custodians. Näva has a small work team that works closely together at a significantly slower pace compared to typical inpatient care. At Näva, we care for patients where the majority are elderly and often have multiple conditions with varying needs for nursing care and medical interventions. We care for patients in all specialties except pediatrics. Common diagnoses include, for example, heart failure, cancer, various types of fractures, and infectious conditions. In both forms of care, people with palliative care needs in various phases are cared for. Palliative care is Näva's specialty, with collaboration with the Palliative Care Unit in Östersund and Storsjögläntan. Southern Lapland Upper Secondary School Federation is an organization that encompasses upper secondary schools in the towns of Vilhelmina, Storuman, and Tärnaby. The schools have high academic achievement rates and a high proportion of qualified teachers. Teaching groups are small. We strive for SLG to be the natural choice for young people in southern Lapland, and we offer nine national programs, introductory programs, and apprenticeship training. SLG also offers NIU (National Sports Program) courses in weightlifting and alpine skiing. Our municipalities are beautifully located in southern Lapland and consist of forests, lakes, and mountains. Description NIU Instructor Tärnaby Alpine Upper Secondary School is one of Sweden's leading training grounds for alpine skiing. With our location in the heart of Tärnaby, we have a unique setting with close proximity to the slopes and school within walking distance. Tärnaby Alpine Upper Secondary School is now seeking, subject to necessary decisions, coaches for our alpine NIU program. This is a permanent position with a probationary period. The Role of NIU Instructor We are looking for someone who wants to combine your alpine expertise with professional teaching. As an instructor with us, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating training according to national NIU objectives.
