Primary care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division of Close Care together with Ambulance Services, Public Dental Care, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Primary care is organized into 4 close care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under close care. Each close care area is an economic unit led by a operations manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's healthcare advisory services, youth clinic, and the close care unit Näva, which are all funded through appropriations. The health center with approximately 5,000 registered patients has modern and fit-for-purpose facilities. Here we offer both emergency and scheduled clinic visits. Adjacent to the health center is the Close Care Unit (Näva), which we operate together with the municipality. JOB DUTIES Working as a district physician/general medicine specialist with us means that you assess, investigate, treat, and provide advice to patients in primary care with various types of complaints and issues. You work with health promotion, group activities, and collaborate with other professionals at the health center based on evidence-based methods. We actively work to develop our treatment interventions, for healthy lifestyles, and to prevent long-term sick leave and promote rapid return to work. We work with correct use of expertise, RAK, where you as a district physician participate in developing working methods to ensure that your expertise is used in the best way for our patients. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you with specialist qualifications in general medicine with Swedish medical licensure and a good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written. You have Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale. You enjoy working in a team with other professionals, close to patients, and you want to contribute to the development of the operation. As a person, we see that you are positive, humble, have good initiative skills, and prefer to work in a solution-oriented manner. We would also like to see that you have a structured, flexible working style and are open to changes within your area of operations. Furthermore, you appreciate and understand the value of collaboration, but also take responsibility and work independently when required. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. For this position, a driver's license class B is desirable. Employment form: Permanent position. Primary care is a health care unit within the Region's Health and Medical Services Administration where university education for a medical degree and research are conducted. This means that all applicants undergo expert review by the R&D responsible person prior to any employment. Due to this, the application must contain the following documents: • A structured CV • Certificate of medical degree from the institution(s) where the physician has completed their basic education. This also applies to physicians trained within another EU country and in countries outside the EU. • License certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare. • Specialist competency certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare. • Documented supervisor training • If applicable, certificate of academic degree, such as Doctor of Medicine or Docent, as well as date of defense and title of thesis. • If applicable, a completely updated publication list. • Certificate/documentation of teaching experience and possibly other pedagogical merits. • Any additional documented qualifications regarding, for example, clinical knowledge/experience, clinical development work, management experience, and anything else the applicant wishes to highlight as merit for the sought position. Verification of medical license and specialist certificate will be done via IVO and HOSP.
