About the Project Language is an important key to employment, participation, and health. Who Are We Looking For? We're looking for someone who is confident, committed, and genuinely interested in young people with NPF and complex issues. You find it easy to build relationships, but are at the same time clear and professional. You understand that the same approach doesn't work for everyone and can adapt your communication style to the young person's needs and circumstances. We see that you have: relevant post-secondary education, such as social worker, behavioral scientist, treatment educator, teacher, or social pedagogue experience working with children and young people with similar issues knowledge and experience of NPF, such as ADHD and autism an understanding of how NPF can affect behavior, emotion regulation, social interaction, and everyday functioning experience working with young people with complex behavioral issues a structured and solution-focused approach good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team genuine commitment to change work. Experience working with children and young people with NPF and complex behavioral issues is particularly important to us and will carry significant weight in the selection process.
