Our Operations The Outpatient Care Department in Uppsala is located at Kronparksgården in the beautiful natural setting of Ulleråker and has approximately 70 employees. We are a department with capacity for 30 patients. We primarily care for elderly patients who need inpatient care but do not require the hospital's specialist resources. Common reasons for admission include pain management and mobilization, infections, dehydration from heart failure, and unsustainable home situations, among others. Patients are admitted from the Mobile Outpatient Care Team, health centers, or the emergency department at Akademiska Hospital. Here we work in teams with the patient in focus. As a nursing assistant, you work closely with patients performing standard nursing assistant tasks. With us you become part of a wonderful team with mixed ages, genders, and experiences.
