In this combined job posting, we're seeking engaged nursing assistants for several of Uppsala Municipality's home care areas. As a nursing assistant with us, you work in clients' homes. It's important that you're comfortable moving between different homes and meeting people in different life situations. The work is varied and includes both care services and practical tasks. You work days and evenings, plus every other weekend. To get between clients, you need to be able to cycle year-round. We use well-equipped and well-maintained bicycles so you can get around safely and securely even in poor weather. Your Work Tasks As a nursing assistant, you will provide personal care and help clients with meals, hygiene, cleaning, and shopping. You'll also perform delegated tasks from licensed staff and document according to applicable legislation and procedures. The role also includes supporting both clients and their relatives and contributing to good and professional collaboration within the work team. Currently, the following operations are seeking staff: Gamla Uppsala Vaksala Norra Källparken - Salabacke Fålhagen and Innerstaden Nyby/Gränby Norby Storvreta Qualifications Requirements for the position: Trained nursing assistant Good command of Swedish in speaking, writing, listening, and reading comprehension You can cycle in all weather conditions Meritorious for the position: B driver's license Current experience working in care, preferably elderly care Experience with administrative tasks Personal Qualities We're looking for someone who is calm, secure, and attentive. You take responsibility for your work and adapt when plans change. You treat people with respect and contribute to good collaboration within the work team.
