F 16 is responsible for Uppsala Garrison and the operation of Uppsala Airport. The position is located at the Buildings Department, which is part of the university administration. The university administration serves as the support and service function for university leadership and core activities in research and education. Our Operations Highly specialized cancer care at Akademiska University Hospital is among the country's best. Here the pace is high, the care is complex, and it involves a multitude of specialized competencies. Within blood disorders and oncology, there are five sections and we have a total of about 400 employees. The Clinical Research and Development Unit, KFUE, is a department within the blood disorders and oncology division at Akademiska University Hospital. KFUE has contributed to clinical research in oncology since 2000 and today has approximately thirty employees (research nurses, research nursing assistants, project managers, administrator, economist, department head, and medically responsible physicians). Today, approximately 200 clinical studies are conducted in the field of blood disorders and oncology, both from pharmaceutical companies and academia. We are now seeking an administrator who wants to become an important part of our clinical trial operations in oncology at a university hospital. Your Assignment As an administrator in our research and clinical trial operations, you will, in collaboration with our current administrator, support researchers, research nurses, research nursing assistants, and investigators in the daily work with clinical studies. You will also collaborate with our Clinical Trial Office, which works on the initiation and agreements around the studies. The role is varied and involves many contact points, where you contribute to ensuring high quality and good service in our operations. Your tasks may include: • Administrative support to research and trial operations • Management of study documentation and archiving • Coordination of meetings and training • Registration and follow-up of data and documents • Contact with internal and external partners • Support in the initiation, implementation, and closure of clinical trials • Management of orders, invoices, and other administrative processes We are Looking for You • Have a university education, preferably in biomedicine, life science, health science, or equivalent field • Are newly graduated or have some years of experience in administrative work • Have excellent ability to organize and structure your work • Are thorough, responsible, and quality-conscious • Are flexible and comfortable handling multiple tasks in parallel • Have strong service orientation and good collaboration skills • Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written • Have good computer skills and are quick to learn new systems Meritorious • Course in Clinical Drug Development or equivalent • GCP training (Good Clinical Practice) • Experience with clinical trials or medical research • Experience in administrative work within healthcare, university, or research environment We Offer With us, you have the opportunity to work in a stimulating academic environment where research, innovation, and patient benefit are in focus.
