Welcome to us in Tierp, one of the country's largest health centers with extensive and diverse operations, and Östervåla Health Center, the small health center with great opportunities. We are now seeking someone interested in joining our mental health teams at the health centers. We offer a permanent position at 90%, allocated 50% to Tierps Health Center and 40% to Östervåla Health Center, with start date by agreement. Your Assignment
The work area is mental health that does not require psychiatric resources. You will work in a team with social workers, psychiatric nurses, and psychologists, but also independently with adults aged 18 and above. You work and collaborate interprofessionally with other professionals at the health centers, with close collaboration with doctors and rehabilitation coordinators. The work involves primarily psychological counseling, assessment and treatment, both individually and in groups.
Supervision and training of other staff may occur.
Your Qualifications
We are seeking a licensed psychologist with competence in CBT and/or PDT. We want you to have experience with diagnostics and to work based on evidence-based methods.
Your Competence
To thrive in this work, you need to be comfortable handling large patient flows and combinations of assessments, both shorter and longer interventions. To succeed, you need good pedagogical skills and an ability to easily connect with both patients and colleagues. You express yourself well in speech and writing, and adapt your communication style to the recipient based on their ability to understand information.
Great weight is placed on personal suitability, which for us means that you want to contribute to a good working climate by being positive, having a flexible work approach, and good ability to collaborate with others in the team, while having experience and drive to work independently.
Our Operations
Tierps Health Center is located between Uppsala and Gävle with good commuting options. From Uppsala, trains and buses depart every half hour during rush hour, and the health center is within walking distance of the station. We have approximately 19,500 registered patients, making us one of the country's largest health centers. We have about 110 employees working in teams with all services within the health center's mission, including emergency services. Our patients are both young and elderly and live in Tierp and the surrounding countryside.

Östervåla is located in beautiful agricultural and forest land in Heby Municipality northwest of Uppsala. The health center has 31 dedicated employees consisting of doctors, district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, physiotherapist, dietitian, psychologist, and social worker. We serve 6,250 registered patients. The operations also include the district nurse clinic in Tärnsjö. We work from the patient's perspective and strongly emphasize quality and patient safety.
