You supervise patrols in the field to take far-reaching and relevant initial measures, and you also supervise the investigation resources available during day and evening shifts so that relevant and adequate investigative measures are taken in the cases for which you are the investigation leader. As a supervisor, you also have workplace responsibility based on your supervisory function. Together with the group managers, you coach, motivate, and support employees and create conditions for them to succeed in the crime investigation and crime prevention mission. As an on-duty investigation leader, you act offensively and with due process under applicable law. You also collaborate with, among others, crime coordination, station commanders, duty commanders, RLC commanders, field commanders, the Police's contact center (PKC), local investigation leaders, prosecutors, the court system, defense attorneys, and the correctional service. Within the group, expedited prosecution (SLF) is handled, where you as investigation leader support patrols at the scene in matters to be handled within SLF and process the case until it is handed over to the prosecutor. As an on-duty investigation leader, you may also act as an investigation leader in other groups/units and/or in individual cases.
