We are now seeking a postdoctoral researcher in soft electronics with a position at the Department of Science and Technology, Campus Norrköping. Field of Research The Laboratory for Organic Electronics (LOE, https://www.liu.se/loe) at Linköping University is a world-leading research environment in organic, printed, bio- and soft electronics. This position is part of a research council (VR) funded project titled "Biowaste-Based Stretchable Sensor Modules for Sustainable Plant Wearables", which aims to develop sustainable, stretchable and biodegradable sensor systems for plant-worn applications in precision agriculture. The project addresses a central challenge in modern agricultural technology: enabling continuous monitoring of plant health while minimizing environmental impact. By refining agricultural bio-based waste into functional electronic materials, biodegradable substrates, stretchable conductive inks and multimodal sensor systems are developed to measure growth, microclimate and stress responses in plants. The research combines materials science, printed electronics, stretchable electronics, bioelectronics and sustainable manufacturing to create the next generation of plant-worn sensor technologies. You will join an interdisciplinary research environment and collaborate with both academic and industrial partners, nationally and internationally. Your Responsibilities As a postdoctoral researcher, you will primarily conduct research. Work tasks may also include teaching, but no more than 20% of working time.
