The Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic has a reception, hearing care, speech therapy and secretariat with a total of just over 50 employees of various professions. At the University Hospital in Linköping, the Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic consists of reception, interpreter center, speech therapy, hearing care, ward and secretariat with just over 150 employees of various professions.
As an operations planner, you have an important role in ensuring that patients receive the right care at the right time. Through collaboration with other professionals within the clinic, this is essential for good patient safety. We are now looking for you to help us develop what future operations planning should be. You will also work across the region and within your position at Vrinnevi Hospital.

Job Description
At the Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic, operations take place at three operating rooms. Vrinnevi Hospital, Ekoxen in Linköping and University Hospital. Your main task is to plan and schedule for these three operating units. You are the key link for the overall coordination of the patient's operation. In addition to this, you work closely with the clinic's other operations planners with responsibility for filling the operating room capacity for all facilities in Norrköping and Linköping. The work is highly independent with significant personal responsibility. You will work in two computer systems: the patient record system Cosmic and the operations planning tool Opguide. Furthermore, you will participate in various meetings related to operations planning and work closely with the clinic's surgeons.
Work Team
At the reception, nurses, nursing assistants, section leaders and paramedical professionals work together with the ward manager.
About You
You are a licensed nurse with at least one year of professional experience as a nurse. Experience in surgery and/or operations planning, and work with Opguide and Cosmic, is a merit. You must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
In the role of operations planner, you are expected to collaborate with both internal and external contacts at our operating facilities. This means you have a good ability to work with other people, where you are responsive and communicate effectively. You take your assignment with great responsibility in a structured manner, with attention to detail and maintaining high quality standards. It is also important that you organize and prioritize your work tasks efficiently. We expect the work to meet established timelines.
