We are now recruiting residential support workers for the group home on Nybrovägen in Linköping. We offer training and a developmental job where you make a difference! This is an operation that has existed since autumn 2024. About the group home The group home has 6 places located at Nybrovägen 28 in the Harvestad district in the southern parts of Linköping. The operation is situated close to nature but also has proximity to shops and public transport. The operation comprises accommodation services with special assistance according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and is aimed at people with mental disabilities. About the role As a residential support worker, you base your work on the residents' individual needs and wishes and provide support in daily life based on a pedagogical approach. Together with 5 other colleagues, you work with the goal of making the day meaningful and enriching. You support and guide with, among other things, personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, social contacts and communication. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and to create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are arranged for daytime, evening shifts, weekends and on-call nights. You have a group manager close to you who works part-time in the operation. This could also be a future career opportunity for you. Your experience and knowledge You have upper secondary education in care and nursing or equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills and experience with documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with this target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and give you the opportunity to grow.
