Commissioning Engineer
We are looking for commissioning engineers who want challenges! A snapshot of your day At the testing facility, we are responsible for all testing of gas turbines and auxiliary equipment before delivery to our customers. We work with test runs of gas turbines, shop testing of equipment associated with the gas turbine, and testing of complete deliveries. You will be part of the group that performs shop testing and string testing. We also work in close collaboration with test rig operators and flex staffing to cover each other's needs. During low capacity, commissioning jobs abroad can also be scheduled. How you will make an impact As a commissioning engineer, you will participate in and lead the commissioning of gas turbine packages in our workshop and at our customers' sites. A Snapshot of Your Day As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you'll play a key role in helping Siemens Energy attract and hire exceptional talent that powers the future of energy. Partnering closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and business leaders, you'll own the end-to-end recruitment process, delivering a seamless experience for both candidates and stakeholders. How You'll Make an Impact Partner with business leaders, hiring managers, and HR Business Partners to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening through to interviewing, offer management, and onboarding support Build and maintain diverse talent pipelines by proactively engaging active and passive candidates through LinkedIn, networking, employee referrals, and other sourcing channels. Develop a strong understanding of your business area, market trends, and talent landscape to provide strategic recruitment advice and market intelligence. Deliver an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience by providing clear communication, timely feedback, and expert guidance throughout the recruitment process Use recruitment metrics and data to monitor pipeline health, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement across your portfolio. Advise hiring managers on recruitment best practices, interview techniques, inclusive hiring, and market conditions to support informed hiring decisions. Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, increase efficiency, and contribute to best practice initiatives across the global Talent Acquisition function. What You Bring Proven recruitment experience, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, high-volume, or skilled labour environments. Strong sourcing capability with experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, social media platforms, networking, and other innovative attraction methods. Experience building strong relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders while managing multiple recruitment projects simultaneously. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload, manage competing deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Experience using applicant tracking systems (such as Avature) and recruitment metrics to manage pipelines and improve hiring performance. A customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering an exceptional candidate experience. High levels of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential information. A collaborative approach with a continuous improvement mindset and enthusiasm for learning new technologies and recruitment practices. Service Application Engineer
A Snapshot of Your Day Join our global team as a Service Application Engineer and step into the heart of preventive maintenance for SGT 800 gas turbines. You lead and coordinate technical delivery, develop the basis for service quotes, and assess potential risks with confidence. As the technical voice in meetings, you represent projects to customers, partners, and colleagues. You prepare inspection setups and update product data after each inspection. You master tools like SAP and PLM2020 and serve as the go-to expert between major overhauls. Sometimes you travel to meet customers in person and discuss maintenance insights. Every day you work closely with Sales Managers, Customer Contract Managers, Project Managers, and Logistics to keep our turbines running at peak performance. How You Will Make an Impact Prepare customized technical setups for planned inspections of SGT 800 gas turbines within Long Term Program contracts and find ways to create added value. Be the technical point of contact for LTP customers and collaborate with the engineering team on various technical issues (without 24/7 emergency support). Lead, coordinate, and deliver the technical aspects of preventive maintenance, provide clear feedback for service quotes, and assess risks together with other technical experts. Represent projects at customer and partner meetings, prepare inspection setups, provide back-office support during inspections, and update product data afterward. Use SAP and PLM2020 to manage data efficiently and answer technical questions from customers and regional teams during planned overhauls. Travel to customer facilities 1–5 times per year to discuss maintenance activities with customer representatives. What You Bring Strong technical foundation in Gas Turbine Engineering – master's degree in control engineering, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience. Experience with commissioning or installation of SGT 800 turbines is a plus. You have a collaborative mindset and are curious about both learning and sharing knowledge. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers in project environments. Interest in process improvement and experience working in multiple IT systems.
