Work Tasks As a special education teacher at Mora Gymnasium, you will work to assess students' support needs and contribute to creating accessible learning environments. You will collaborate closely with student advisors, teachers, and school leadership, and participate in the student welfare team and base team. The role includes guiding and supporting teachers in pedagogical work as well as initiating and implementing professional development initiatives. You are expected to contribute to the school's development work by inspiring, initiating, and leading pedagogical processes. The work requires strong collaboration skills, the ability to build trusting relationships, and responsibility for both operational and personal development. Qualifications Special education teacher or special pedagogy degree, or other qualifications that the employer deems equivalent. Pedagogical insight, i.e., knowledge of learning theory, ability to see connections between theories and teaching situations, and between pedagogical methods and learner development. Knowledge of various pedagogical theories and approaches that stimulate learning. Good knowledge of student development and learning. Good knowledge of current governing documents and relevant legislation. Good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, and good IT skills. Relevant professional experience. The administration is responsible for gymnasium education and adult education in the three cooperating municipalities. We are a school with highly competent staff and excellent student results. We focus on student knowledge development and have strong confidence in teachers' abilities. The operation currently includes 14 national programs, introductory programs, sports gymnasium, adapted gymnasium school, adult education, Swedish for immigrants (SFI), and distance higher education studies.
