About the Position Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to a smooth-running everyday life. Each assistance is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. The client is a 70-year-old man living in Mora. The client's individual needs drive the workday, and your work may include assistance with mobility, personal care, exercise and communication, as well as household chores and activities inside and outside the home. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant makes high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, good personal chemistry between you and the client is essential. For this position, you must have: good physical fitness good knowledge of Swedish tolerance of pet animals be calm and responsible For this position, it is desirable if you: have experience from similar work share the client's interest in flowers have a Class B driver's license Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The current employment form is "For the duration of the assignment," and the position is approximately 37% from September. The position involves working varying hours during the day/evening 08:00-21:00 or night 20:30-08:50 with 4 hours on-call. There is also a shorter "temporary assignment" starting immediately through week 30 on a part-time basis, with possible extension. We are also seeking assistants for scheduled shifts at approximately 90% during the summer, weeks 26-33. Fixed hourly salary by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement.
