This position is linked to a new ESF-funded project where we, together with healthcare, the Public Employment Service, and the Social Insurance Agency, are developing more coordinated and person-centered support for people with mental health challenges and complex issues. The project is based on the IPS model (Individual Placement and Support) and combines person-centered support with systematic follow-up and close collaboration between healthcare, authorities, and the labor market. Job Responsibilities As an Employment Specialist you work close to people who are far from the labor market and who often have mental health challenges and other complex issues. You coach, motivate, and support the participant in their process toward work or studies. The work is based on the IPS method where the individual's goals, motivation, and strengths are at the center. The focus is on creating progress over time through individualized support and close collaboration with other actors around the participant. The role is clearly outward-facing. You actively work to create contacts with employers and identify opportunities for internships, work training, and employment. You will: plan, implement, and follow up on individual interventions work in a motivating and supportive manner based on IPS methodology match participants to work, internships, or studies build and develop relationships with employers and other collaboration partners work proactively and network in the local community collaborate with psychiatry, the Public Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, and other actors regarding the participant's progress work systematically with follow-up, progress, and documentation contribute to the development of approaches and collaboration within the project Qualifications We are looking for you who: have higher education within a relevant field, such as behavioral science, social work, support pedagogy, or other education that the employer deems equivalent have experience working with people in transition have good understanding of labor market issues and work-oriented rehabilitation have good digital skills have a B driver's license, as travel is part of the work It is meriting if you have: experience with IPS or Supported Employment experience working with people with mental health challenges or complex issues knowledge of MI or similar approaches experience with collaboration between authorities, healthcare, and labor market actors We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
