Apply today. Colleagues tomorrow. Description The Adapted Primary School in Mora has approximately 40 students and is located at Noresskolan and at Morkarlbyhöjdens school. Grades 1-3 are housed in a separate building at Morkarlbyhöjdens school and grades 4-9 are located at Noresskolan. We have two after-school programs. Job Responsibilities You are responsible for teaching in subject areas/subjects, planning, implementation, and evaluation based on the curriculum, where values-based education is an integral part. Teaching is conducted both within subject areas and subjects with a focus on student development, participation, and learning. You lead and organize instruction, distribute work in the classroom, and guide and mentor educational resources. You collaborate with colleagues and professionals within the Student Welfare Unit on everyday matters throughout instruction, as well as in collaborative development work. In your role as a special education teacher, you shall work together with colleagues to provide students with the guidance and stimulation they need in their learning and personal development. Together we build an activity with commitment and positive collaboration, so that students can reach their full potential according to the goals of education. You actively participate in the school's systematic development work. Qualifications You are a licensed teacher with a special education teacher degree with a focus on intellectual disabilities. You have a solution-focused approach to work. You have the ability to build secure relationships. You must master the Swedish language both spoken and written. You must be thorough and structured in your documentation. You must have knowledge and experience using AAC, visual supports, and other compensatory aids as well as using digital learning tools. You are relational, responsive, and clear in your pedagogical leadership and have the ability to motivate and create learning environments with a focus on inclusion and student influence. You have a low-affect approach and can handle stressful situations that arise around you. You are a clear and secure leader in the classroom. You have experience and competence to drive school development issues and pedagogical discussions interest you. You are well versed in current regulations and have good ICT skills.
