Hundreds of cases and matters are decided in courts throughout Sweden every day. Our organization consists of employees with different competencies, where each person is important in maintaining legal certainty and high quality at all levels. The Administrative Court of Malmö is one of Sweden's largest courts and one of the country's four migration courts. The Administrative Court is a general administrative court that primarily decides disputes between individuals and state or municipal authorities. The Administrative Court handles approximately 450 different types of cases. The most common case types are migration cases, tax cases, social insurance cases, cases under the Social Services Act, cases concerning administrative enforcement measures, driving license cases, cases concerning public procurement, and cases concerning delay claims. In addition, there are for example cases concerning legality review under the Local Government Act and various licensing cases. A large number of cases have EU law connections. The Administrative Court has approximately 300 employees working in modern facilities in a newly built court building at Malmö Central Station. The Administrative Court of Malmö is now seeking two or more court case officers with entry during autumn 2026. Job Duties As a court case officer, you participate in the handling of the court's various case types. The job duties include, among other things, registering documents in cases, handling written exchanges, calling for oral hearings and dispatching judgments and decisions. The job duties also include taking notes during oral hearings. You may also be given the opportunity to write proposals for simpler decisions. The work is independent and several different cases and tasks are handled in parallel. We expect you to be able to handle both internal and external contacts. External contacts can for example be parties, lawyers, interpreters, and authorities. Contact can take place both in writing and orally, primarily via telephone calls. Internally, you work daily within your immediate work group as well as with other staff at the court. If necessary, the work can also include work with case registration. You master the Swedish language very well both in speech and in writing and you have good knowledge of English. Based on completed assessments, you propose appropriate protective and support measures. You also have responsibility as a contact person for one or more youth and are the primary responsible party for them during the placement period. The assignment includes planning, monitoring, and coordinating interventions based on the young person's needs. The work involves close collaboration with placing social secretaries, police, school, BUP, and other relevant actors to ensure coordinated and quality support. The work also includes supportive conversations, documentation, and administrative tasks.
