Responsibilities and Tasks As a Station Technician, you play a central role in ensuring that our electrical power installations from 0.4 to 400 kV are safe, available, and equipped for the energy needs of the future. In this role, you will have varied and practical field work, combining advanced technical problem-solving with thorough digital documentation. Together with colleagues in operations, maintenance, and projects, you contribute to a power grid with high operational reliability and quality, where your technical expertise makes a real difference in everyday life, both for our installations and for society. Your main responsibilities include: Performing service, operations, maintenance, construction, and troubleshooting in stations and electrical power installations Conducting rounds, inspections, and checks according to established maintenance programs and reporting deviations Working according to ESA, EBR, and applicable safety procedures, as well as participating in risk assessments and work preparations Performing maintenance, repairs, and switching on switchgear equipment, such as transformers, circuit breakers, disconnectors, tap changers, battery systems, and work with thermography and grounding checks, etc. Minor modifications and fault corrections may be part of the role Documenting completed work and managing work orders in our digital systems Contributing to the development of work methods and procedures for increased safety and quality The role involves a strong focus on safety, quality, progress, and commitment. Travel within the area and on-call duty may be a natural part of the assignment. Job Requirements We are looking for someone with good technical understanding, strong safety awareness, and interest in working with complex electrical power installations. You are structured, thorough, and take responsibility for both quality and safety in your work. We would like you to have: Upper secondary education in electrical power/electricity or equivalent vocational training Experience as a station technician, electrical power technician, distribution electrician, industrial electrician, or similar Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written Driver's license category B It is advantageous if you have good ability to read drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation, as well as a basic understanding of control, protection, and monitoring systems.
