About the Role We are now seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer who wants to help develop the infrastructure that forms the foundation for some of the world's most exciting space projects. With us, you'll work in a technically advanced environment where infrastructure is critical to everything from satellite operations and rocket launches to research and development. In this role, you'll become part of SSC Space's infrastructure specialists and work with the core of our global hybrid environment. You are responsible for operating, developing, and improving our infrastructure, both in our data centers and on our cloud-based platforms. The focus is on stability, security, scalability, and long-term development. The work is varied and includes everything from administering Linux and Windows environments to operating our private cloud platform based on VMware and Nutanix. You will also work with physical infrastructure in our data centers and participate in developing future platforms and architectural solutions. You'll work closely with colleagues in IT, development, and the broader business, where you contribute both technical expertise and a strategic perspective. The role also involves driving work on automation, configuration management, and Infrastructure as Code to create efficient and sustainable solutions.
