We are now seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Operational Maintenance Manager who wants to take a key role in daily operations. The role combines technical inspections, maintenance planning, operational coordination, and close customer contact. About Miilux Miilux is a Nordic specialist in wear steel, mining equipment, and maintenance services for the mining and contracting industries. Together with our production facilities and service organization in Finland, we deliver products and services to customers throughout the Nordic region. About the Position Miilux has signed a multi-year service agreement for truck beds with Boliden Aitik and is now establishing a service organization on-site at the mine. As an Operational Maintenance Manager, you work daytime, Monday to Friday, and are responsible for operational planning of maintenance work. An important part of the role is to conduct regular inspections and condition assessments, particularly of truck beds but also other equipment for mobile mining machinery. Based on completed inspections, you analyze equipment condition together with the rest of the team, identify upcoming maintenance and repair needs, and plan work together with the customer. You are responsible for maintaining a backlog of planned work and ensuring that the service team has the right conditions to perform the work in a safe and efficient manner. In this role, you work closely with both Boliden representatives and the Miilux organization. You are responsible for operational delivery and lead the daily work on-site. The position does not include personnel responsibility from the start, but for the right person there may be opportunities for continued development in leadership over time. Your Responsibilities As an Operational Maintenance Manager, you will, among other things: Conduct regular inspections and condition assessments of truck beds and other mining equipment. Together with the rest of the team and internal support, analyze inspection results and identify maintenance and repair needs. Create and maintain a backlog of planned maintenance and repair work. Maintain repair history and documentation. Participate in weekly planning together with the customer. Prepare upcoming work by ensuring that the correct tools, spare parts, materials, and work instructions are available. Lead and coordinate the daily work of the Miilux service team on-site. Be the Miilux contact person in daily communication with the customer's representatives. Ensure that work is performed in accordance with applicable safety requirements and Miilux quality standards. Contribute to the development of inspection, reporting, and planning processes. Identify improvement and business opportunities and report them to Miilux. We are Looking for You We believe you have a background as a welder, mechanic, service technician, or similar, and have experience with maintenance, planning, or coordination within industrial, workshop, or mining operations. We would like to see that you have: Several years of practical experience from heavy industry or mining operations. Good technical understanding of welding, repair, and maintenance of heavy equipment. Experience with inspections, condition assessments, or planning of maintenance work. Good administrative skills and computer proficiency. Class B driver's license. Good knowledge of Swedish and English. Finnish is a merit. Experience from the mining industry, preventive maintenance, or work with maintenance management systems is a merit. Who Are You?
