Site Manager

Site Manager – lead an operation that never stops Are you a confident leader who thrives when the pace is high, decisions are crucial, and your team members are the key to success? We are now seeking a Site Manager who wants to take overall responsibility for our operations in Uppland and Gotland. This is a role for someone who wants to combine remote operational leadership, business acumen, and operational development – and who believes that building strong teams through other managers is just as important as delivering results. With us, you lead an operation that runs 24/7, year-round. Here, distribution and transport employees, drivers, vehicles come together to ensure that newspapers, packages, and other shipments reach their destinations. It's an important assignment with a high pace, great responsibility, and significant value for both customers and recipients – and we are now looking for a leader who wants to be part of developing the future of the transportation and distribution industry. About the Role As Site Manager, you have overall responsibility for both the daily operations and development of the business in Uppland and Gotland. You lead the operation remotely and through other managers, which requires clarity, trust, structure, and the ability to create engagement even when you're not always physically present. You are an engaged leader who builds commitment, establishes trust, and helps people grow. At the same time, you have the ability to take a step back and see how the operation can develop in both the short and long term. In this role, you report to the Distribution Manager and are part of a network of Site Managers where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and development are in focus. What You Will Do Lead and develop the operation, managers, employees, and results in Uppland and Gotland Have personnel, work environment, and quality responsibility Ensure efficient and well-functioning operations within the transportation, logistics, and distribution business Work with budgets, follow-up, and operational management Drive improvement and change initiatives Implement new business, clients, and working methods Create conditions for high service levels and satisfied customers Collaborate with labor organizations, HR, and other parts of the operation Who Are You? We believe you are someone who enjoys taking responsibility and is driven by achieving results together with others. You have experience leading people and feel confident making decisions, prioritizing, and handling everyday challenges. You likely come from the transportation, logistics, distribution, or trucking industry where you understand the demands placed on an operation that must function every single day. We would especially like to see that you have: Leadership experience with personnel, work environment, and operational responsibility Experience leading managers and operations remotely Experience with budget and results responsibility Experience from transportation, logistics, distribution, or trucking operations Ability to lead change and development Good system skills and the ability to quickly learn multiple digital systems and administrative tools A valid driver's license (Class B), as the role involves travel to our various locations and operations Strong knowledge of Swedish and English Why Choose Us You will have the opportunity to: Be part of a forward-looking industry in constant development.
