Residential Support Worker 100% Monday-Friday
We are seeking a residential support worker for our specialist team You will primarily work with residential support. If there is a gap in the daily schedule, for example due to a cancellation, you need to be able to perform other services within the organization such as home care, companion services, or respite care. Therefore, you need to be comfortable working across all of the organization's services as needed. No formal education is required, but it is advantageous if you are a trained nursing assistant, psychiatric nurse, or have relevant experience in residential support, psychiatry, mental health, substance abuse issues, or hoarding behaviors. Start date: Immediate Working hours: Monday–Friday 07:30–16:30 Extent: 100%, 40/40 Salary: According to collective agreement, Almega Vårdföretagarna Probationary employment for 6 months according to collective agreement. Requirements for the position You need to have very good Swedish in speech and writing and feel confident communicating with authorities via phone, email, and in-person meetings. You need to be able to handle everyday financial matters, such as bills and payments. You should be structured, independent, proactive, and responsive, and be able to plan, document, and follow up on your work based on the client's assistance decision. It is also important that you want to be an active part of the organization, cooperate with colleagues, and contribute to the shared work. Job responsibilities As a residential support worker, you work based on the client's assistance decision, primary goals, and sub-goals. You plan, implement, document, and follow up on the support based on the client's needs and approved services. The work may involve helping the client manage finances, bills, and contact with authorities, planning daily routines, calendars, meetings, and activities, and creating structure and order in the home. You can also help the client organize papers, drawers, storage, and other spaces, work with hoarding behaviors and other individual difficulties, and accompany the client to meetings, appointments, and activities. An important part of the work is to plan concrete tasks and sub-goals together with the client and follow up on these at subsequent visits.
