The Operations Manager Role As Operations Manager for the machinery team, you play a key role in our operations. You will work closely with the team in our exciting projects. You lead and distribute work for your subordinate staff and plan and coordinate resources—both internal and external. You have an important role in creating a good work environment for your team members and ensuring that efficiency, profitability, and quality are achieved at all levels. The work takes place in close collaboration with colleagues such as Area Manager, Operations Specialist, and Area Assistant within your work area. Your Profile We're looking for someone with several years of experience working as a crew supervisor or equivalent in paving operations. As a leader, you are confident and contribute to your employees' development and your team's success. You are organized and have good logistical skills. Efficiency is important to you and you're used to handling multiple concurrent tasks. You are a problem-solver and have a strong curiosity for development and learning new things. Beyond production, you're skilled at building customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and maintaining long-term partnerships. The position involves travel, for which a B-category driver's license is required. During the season, night work may occur.
