MSc with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience • Power System Stability expertise: In-depth knowledge in electric power systems with a specific focus on the domain of stability and control. Particularly, it is required to have an exceptional understanding of the system dynamics and state-of-the-art challenges and opportunities under significant penetration of inverter-based technology. It is a big plus if a person has domain knowledge of modeling and stability analyses of HVDC, FACTS, BESS, and RES systems. • Simulation tools: Experience with power system simulation tools and working on different RMS and/or EMT studies through academic and commercial software. Experience with software such as PowerFactory, PSSE, PSCAD, MATLAB (Simulink), EMTP is desirable and a big plus. Additionally, experience with real-time simulations is advantageous. • Soft skills: Good communication and presentation skills in English. The ability to engage in discussions in creating and constructively evaluating project ideas and results. • Programming: Experience in utilizing programming languages (e.g. Python, MATLAB, Julia, C++, etc.) for better work efficiency, presentation of results, and automation of processes for various stability and dynamic performance studies, and optimization of power system operation and control. • Recognized professional network: Experience with research and/or industry projects, applications, and interaction with stakeholders in the power system field.
