About the Operation The Orthopedic Clinic at Falun Hospital provides both acute and planned orthopedic care. The operation includes an outpatient clinic, two inpatient wards, and close collaboration between several professional groups. Preparations for the construction of the Academic Dental Care Center in Falun are in full swing. The Academic Dental Care Center will house Falun's central general dental clinics, specialist dental care, dental laboratory, public health function, and administration. This role involves being operations manager for the two general dental clinics that will in the future become one clinic with approximately 50 employees. Until the building is ready, you will be located at Bergmästaren where the staff consists of approximately 30 people. Responsibilities As operations manager, you have overall responsibility for operations, finances, personnel, work environment, and development. You have overall responsibility for preparing the merger of the general dental clinics in central Falun, which will then be housed in the Academic Dental Care Center. How should the logistics work? What work processes should we have that are compatible with all functions housed there? How should we structure the management group? These are some of the questions we have, but we don't have all the answers—here you get an opportunity to have significant influence on the final result. In addition to operational responsibility, you have financial and personnel responsibility for your clinic and conduct monthly budget reviews and reporting with your division manager. You are responsible for staffing, recruitment, and employee meetings and rehabilitation. Working toward good cooperation with our union representatives will be part of your daily duties. As operations manager, you are an important representative of the operation, both internally and externally. You need to be confident representing Public Dentistry and able to meet with media in a professional and confidence-building manner. Beyond the clinic in Falun, you have overall responsibility for the Falun operational area, which also includes the clinic in Svärdsjö. You therefore work closely with leadership in Svärdsjö to create a common direction and development within the area.
