We are seeking two experienced developers responsible for management and further development of Sussa data and analytics, a new virtual collaboration organization tasked with managing and developing a common data warehouse for nine regions. About the Organization Sussa data and analytics is part of Sussa collaboration, a cooperation organization where nine regions work together to help Swedish healthcare achieve the goals outlined in the government's e-health 2025 vision. The collaboration between the nine regions is unique, and work is currently underway to develop and implement a new, shared care information system. To capture the opportunities for jointly developing reporting capabilities, the regions within Sussa collaboration have developed a platform and solution—a data warehouse—to manage information from the care information system. This work is ongoing, and the solution will be deployed as the regions go live with the care information system. Sussa data and analytics is the management and delivery organization that will maintain and further develop the shared platform and solution that each region subsequently deploys in its regional environment. Staffing for this role occurs within Sussa data and analytics, and selection will be made from candidates across all nine Sussa regions. You will be employed in a region but work specifically toward Sussa data and analytics. For more information: https://regionsormland.se/halsa-vard/sussa-samverkan/sussa-bi/ Responsibilities As a developer within Sussa data and analytics, you will have overall responsibility for ensuring implementations proceed as planned in the Sussa data warehouse and for conducting testing and performance optimization. You will also maintain documentation and metadata for the solution and be responsible for proper source code management. Your role will be broad, including participation in testing and debugging work, management and support, as well as handover, training, and support to regional BI teams. This is a position where you will work in a driving and forward-thinking manner within a unique collaboration with colleagues in Sussa and across the nine regions. You will represent nine regions through our shared entity Sussa data and analytics in forums with regional representatives and stakeholders, as well as with the neighboring entity Sussa care support. As a developer in Sussa data and analytics, your assignment is to maintain and further develop the solution together with the team, which encompasses the functions of design, development, and testing. Primary Responsibilities: Development and Management of BI Solutions Design and develop data models, ETL processes, and reports in our BI tools. Optimize performance and ensure high data quality. Maintain and further develop existing solutions as business needs evolve. Data Integration and Quality Assurance Ensure that data from various sources is integrated in a structured and efficient manner. Work with validation, testing, and monitoring to guarantee correctness and consistency of data. Automate testing and quality assurance processes where possible. Collaboration and Requirements Management Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and other developers to understand needs and requirements. Translate business requirements into technical solutions. Participate in sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives to contribute to continuous improvement. Innovation and Process Improvement Stay informed about new technologies and approaches in the BI field. Propose and implement improvements to streamline work with data and analytics. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you need to be able to collaborate well with others. We also see that you should be able to lead and motivate others, coordinate groups, and create engagement. Requirements: Postsecondary education in, for example, data engineering, systems science, or other education that the employer deems relevant, or corresponding documented work experience Multiple years of experience with Microsoft's BI platform Experience developing BI solutions and data modeling according to Kimball Solid knowledge of SQL Experience with data warehouse development Experience working with tabular models Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written Meritorious: Experience managing BI solutions Experience with performance optimization and work on security matters Understanding of and experience with data modeling Other language skills Application If you have protected personal information, you should not apply via the system; instead, contact the recruiting manager directly.
