About the Operation The Procurement Department is the region's expert support for procurement matters. We conduct procurements on behalf of the region's various operations. Job Responsibilities The Procurement Department serves as the region's expert support in procurement and handles assignments from our various operations. The Procurement Department at Region Dalarna works category-driven. As a procurement officer, you work independently with planning and conducting procurements. The role involves close collaboration with all the administration's operations as well as external suppliers. As a natural part of the role, you will work with quality assurance of the procurement process and maintain continuous contact and dialogue with both clients and suppliers as well as other stakeholders. You are responsible for ensuring that procurements are conducted in accordance with laws, regulations, and the region's procurement policy. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has relevant higher education in, for example, procurement/purchasing, law, or economics experience with public procurement (preferably according to LOU) good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written the ability to independently drive processes To succeed in your work, you should be a driven and engaged person with good collaborative skills. You are structured, business-minded, thorough, and have good judgment, as well as the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new tasks.
