Sales Associate at Myrorna in Jönköping

Are you passionate about customer service and sales and want to work for an organization that makes a difference for both people and the environment? We are now looking for a part-time sales associate at Myrorna's store in Jönköping. As a sales associate at Myrorna, your main responsibility will be to be available to customers, listen to their needs, and ensure that the store inspires purchases. Tasks include customer service, cash register operations, item valuation, merchandising, physical and digital product displays, warehouse work, unpacking goods, receiving merchandise, and cleaning. You will also assist in training interns. The primary need is every other Saturday, but there will also be opportunities to pick up extra shifts as needed. Are you the person we're looking for? To succeed in this role, you should have current retail experience from the retail industry, and we would be pleased if you have worked with visual merchandising in stores to ensure an inspiring store environment that drives sales through product displays. As a person, you learn new information and knowledge quickly, positioning you to settle into the role rapidly. You have strong social competence and the ability to build good, trusting collaboration with colleagues. Your approach is unpretentious, and you work independently and take initiative. Since conditions in the store can change from day to day, it's important that you thrive in a changing environment. You are organized, independent, service-oriented, flexible, enjoy working at a fast pace, and can handle physically demanding work. Of course, you have a strong interest in fashion and interior design, and we require that you master Swedish in both spoken and written form. What we can offer you As an employee at Myrorna, you contribute to meaningful work in several ways! We work to strengthen the circular economy through reuse, we support people on their journey to employment through work experience with us, and our surplus goes to various social activities that The Salvation Army works with. These are activities to help the most vulnerable in society and may include food baskets, camps, and Christmas gifts for children and safe housing for abused women. You will also have the opportunity for varied and developmental work in the sales associate role at Myrorna, where you work with a unique product selection and a broad customer base where no two days are the same. Myrorna is covered by a collective agreement, and for sales associates, this is the retail agreement. You will also be offered wellness benefits and employee discounts at all of Myrorna's physical stores. Salary is set according to the current collective agreement. This is a permanent position at 8%, beginning with a probationary period. Working hours are primarily every other Saturday, but we would also like you to be available to pick up extra shifts as needed. Start as soon as possible, by arrangement. Information about the position is provided by Store Manager Susanne Tallåker, [email protected]. We require a background check before employment decision. Myrorna is Sweden's most well-known second-hand retail chain with stores across the country. We are the largest when it comes to collecting clothes and items that can be reused. The operation functions like any other retail chain. With budgets, sales targets, and financial surplus. Yet we differ from others because our financial surplus from sales goes to The Salvation Army's social work in Sweden. Our mission also includes contributing to sustainable social change by encouraging more Swedes to reuse. But also by helping more people who are far from the job market get closer through work experience with us. The three missions are central to everything we do—from how we collect to how we sell. We are a significant social actor working for a sustainable world for the past 130 years. Read more at myrorna.se.
