Since our administrator is going on parental leave, we are now seeking a replacement with experience in adult education administration. On January 1, 2026, Hermods launched a new operation within basic and upper secondary adult education. About the Position
As an administrator in adult education, you are the hub of operations and are primarily responsible for all student administration internally and with our client Jönköping Municipality. In addition to these tasks, you help plan daily operations including exams and assessments. You manage our shared email and answer phones, supporting our students with their questions on-site or digitally. You work closely with our student support team (education director, special education coordinator, special education teacher, and educational specialist) on student and development matters. You also perform common administrative tasks.
Basically, you work 8-17, but other hours may occur depending on operational needs.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking someone with administrative education and experience in school administration. You are skilled at planning and prioritizing your work independently. As a person, you need to be thorough, flexible, and have a solution-focused approach. You can juggle multiple tasks and express yourself clearly and pedagogically in speech and writing. Your collaboration skills are high as you have extensive contact with students, colleagues, and our client. Since you often represent us externally, your professional demeanor is an important quality for success in this role. You must be able to work with all parts of the Office suite, with Excel being particularly important for your comfort level. You need to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing.
It is advantageous if you:
have experience with adult education administration.
have worked in Omniway (our learning platform).
have worked in Edlevo (our client's administrative system).
