Night Care Assistant for 17-Year-Old Girl

We are seeking female care assistants for overnight shifts for our client, a 17-year-old cheerful and spirited girl with Cerebral Palsy. She has significant mobility challenges and therefore requires several assistive devices such as a ceiling lift, standing aid, specially adapted chairs, and various communication aids. As an assistant, you will receive comprehensive on-the-job training to learn how to use these devices. She currently attends an adapted high school for part of the day. As an assistant, you will work overnight shifts of approximately 10-12 hours. The client has dual assistance at all times around the clock. During the night, she needs supervision and assistance as needs arise. It is important that you have a car and a driver's license to get to the workplace. Our client has autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, and epilepsy. He has very limited communication abilities. He needs help with all daily situations such as meals, cleaning, personal hygiene, and activities. As an assistant, you need to be mature, calm, secure, flexible, and accepting. Since our client does not understand dangers, you need to be constantly present. Working hours include days, evenings, weekends, and night shifts. Personal Assistant for Young Adult with Autism

Our client is a young adult man with autism who needs support and guidance in his daily life. He has difficulties with verbal communication and interaction with others. He is physically active and enjoys swimming, walking, cycling, and moving around indoors. There are also times when he prefers to sit still for longer periods. It's important that you don't get restless easily. It's important in this work to be attentive and able to switch between different tempos. A large part of your work is also to provide good supervision of our client as he is very impulsive and does not understand consequences or risks. The work involves following the client through his daily life and helping him with things he cannot manage on his own. Your work also involves being a pedagogical friend who gives him the opportunity to develop in the areas where he has difficulties. In working with the client, we are inspired by Son-Rise. A pedagogy based on low-affect interaction, acceptance, and following the person's interests to create challenges for the client that in turn provide opportunities for development. The client has assistance around the clock. He has daily activities on certain days. On his days off, he has assistance all day.
