Training in respiratory monitoring, oxygen therapy, and emergency care is provided by an experienced nurse through Home Pediatric Care at the Academic Children's Hospital. The girl needs help in her daily life with hygiene and care of her gastrostomy, medications, inhalation treatment, adapted drinks and food, respiratory monitoring, and oxygen therapy in high-flow mask with MyAirvo 2 during sleep. This also includes motor and movement training through play and exercises as well as sign language training. You will follow her through her daily life and be present at school, medical visits, outings, and family trips. As her assistant, you will be with her both indoors and outdoors. The girl does not speak but is very communicative through sounds, sign language, and body language. You will be her interpreter and translator with people she meets. She uses TalkPad. As an assistant, you will help and support her in communication using TAKK and TalkPad. This requires good Swedish skills both spoken and written.
