We are now looking for a committed and attentive personal assistant willing to work awake nights as needed for a boy who lives with his mom, dad, and older sister in a comfortable home in Storvreta, just outside Uppsala. About the Position This is an hourly position on an as-needed basis with work hours scheduled during nighttime. Work shifts are typically from 21:00–07:00 or alternatively 22:00–08:00. The need for extra staff is greatest during school breaks, and pre-booked shifts are available during these periods. This position is therefore well-suited for you if you want flexible extra work but also appreciate the opportunity to plan certain shifts in advance. During the night, the client needs supervision and monitoring. Your task is to be available and attentive to any changes or needs that may arise during the night. Awake night work means you need to be able to maintain concentration, attention, and focus throughout the entire shift. Training will be offered before you start working independently, so you have the opportunity to get to know the client, family, and the routines surrounding the work. The client lives with his family in a nice and well-maintained house in Storvreta. There is a separate assistance room and the work environment is good. This position is particularly well-suited for you if you are a student seeking meaningful extra work alongside your studies, or if you have another occupation and want to work extra during nighttime. You work closely with the client and family and need to be able to relate professionally, respectfully, and attentively to the fact that the workplace is also the family's home. Is attentive and has good ability to read situations and needs. Has a genuine interest in working with children. Is alert and can maintain focus throughout the night shift. Can work independently and take responsibility for the tasks and routines involved in the work. Is committed and interested in getting to know the client and their individual needs. Speaks Swedish well, both verbally and in writing. Qualifications Meritorious Experience with awake night shifts or other night work. Experience in work requiring high attention and continuous focus. Experience working with children. Experience in care and support services. Experience as a personal assistant.
