The school owns the training vessel M/S Polfors. Sjömansskolan Stockholm is seeking an educator who can teach the upper secondary subjects of Maritime Safety, Ship Technology, and Deck Operations. Your primary role will be to prepare young men and women for their career as deck personnel aboard ships. This involves both practical and theoretical instruction in fundamental maritime skills, including: watch-keeping, helmsman and lookout duties, maintenance work, mooring, anchoring, cargo handling, emergency situations, ship evacuation, safety equipment, first aid, workplace safety, navigation, and maritime regulations. The majority of the position involves leading practical instruction aboard the school's training vessel M/S Polfors, as well as instructing and mentoring students aboard other vessels used for training purposes. Students' training also includes pool exercises, firefighting drills, and other exercises in authentic ship environments. Planning and participating in such exercises alongside other staff members is part of your responsibilities. Standard administrative duties associated with teaching will be included. With increasing experience in school operations, responsibilities for areas beyond the core teaching assignment will also become relevant. Team Leader for MEP Group in Life Science & Pharma

Your New Role As part of our Life Science & Pharma unit, you'll use your expert knowledge on projects for global and local customers in pharmaceuticals, biotech, and other high-tech environments with high demands on quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. You'll be part of a skilled team where we work closely with our customers throughout the entire process – from early investigations and design to implementation and follow-up. As our new team leader, in addition to executing exciting projects, you'll engage in matters related to leadership, strategy work, market development, and growth. You'll be responsible for a group currently consisting of approximately 6 people – all with strong expertise in MEP in GMP projects. Our goal is to grow, and you'll be instrumental in expanding and developing the MEP group further. You also have an important role in working with the unit manager to create clear goals for your group based on Ramboll's and the department's strategy and objectives, as well as continuously developing your employees. Your main responsibilities will be: Recruitment and employee development (personnel responsibility). Plan and allocate resources for projects from the team and other parts of the organization in Sweden and globally. Build strong customer relationships and create new business opportunities. Work with tender and market development activities. Lead and develop shared strategies for the team, unit, and business area. Project work in a project management function with a focus on delegation and quality. About You Experience leading and coordinating MEP design teams in life sciences and pharmaceutical projects. Relevant education in MEP or equivalent. Knowledge of GMP and its application in technical facilities. Experience with and interest in business development, with experience driving tender work and contributing to market development. Ability to act as a technical advisor and mentor to colleagues. Good communication skills in speech and writing in Swedish and English. Interest in developing collaboration with colleagues, both within Sweden and in international projects. Leadership experience is a merit but not a requirement.
