Sales & Partnerships Lead at Compileit 🚀
Do you want to build business through networks and relationships at a Swedish company developing digital products and AI solutions? Compileit is now hiring a Sales & Partnerships Lead. About the Role Compileit was founded by developers Isak Utegård and Jonathan Ortheden with the vision of creating digital products with the end user in focus. Since its launch, the company has helped build some of the world's most downloaded apps and today develops digital products and AI solutions with customers like Swish, SkiStar, ICA, and Barncancerfonden. The company works closely with its customers and is often involved from the early ideation stages all the way through to finished product. By combining technical excellence, product understanding, and business focus, Compileit helps organizations solve complex challenges and create measurable value. Now we're looking for a Sales & Partnerships Lead who wants to build long-term customer relationships, create new business opportunities, and contribute to continued growth in a company where technology, product, and business go hand in hand. Sales & Partnerships Lead This is a key commercial role responsible for driving our growth. It's not about cold calling or volume-based prospecting—it's about creating business deals with significant customer value. You identify and develop business opportunities through networks and industry contexts. Often the first contact isn't a sales meeting, but the beginning of a dialogue that leads to business over time. You move between technology, product, and business, working closely with decision-makers, product owners, and technical leaders to understand needs and shape relevant partnerships. For us, this is collaborative work rather than a hierarchical sales function. You work closely with both the founders and the rest of the team, where sales, product, and engineering are in the same loop. Because the development team is involved early, you can connect customer needs directly to concrete solutions. But while relationships are built long-term, the role ultimately comes down to being able to close deals, drive the process forward, and package offers that lead to the right types of projects. Key Responsibilities Identify new business opportunities through networks, events, and industry contacts. Initiate and develop dialogues with decision-makers, product owners, and technical leaders. Build and maintain long-term customer relationships. Drive business processes from first contact all the way through to completed agreement. Represent Compileit in external settings and contribute to how we package our offering. Structure, develop, and maintain our commercial pipeline. What We're Looking For We believe you thrive in the space between people, business, and technology, and that you have a natural curiosity about how digital products are actually built and work. You don't need to be a developer, but you're interested enough in technology to have relevant conversations with both business and tech roles. You enjoy following developments in AI, apps, and modern software because you genuinely find it interesting, not because you see it as a necessary evil or an obligation 😉. You're both creative and structured in your work approach—you can think freely and find new business opportunities while also having the ability to create clarity, prioritize, and drive things methodically forward. Since much of the business is built through relationships and networks, the role also means you're comfortable in settings where business opportunities often arise outside the office—at events, meetings, and industry contexts that sometimes fall outside a traditional 9–5 framework. We'd love it if you have Experience in B2B sales, partnerships, or business development with a documented ability to build long-term relationships. A genuine interest in technology, digital product development, and AI. Very strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Merits Experience selling qualified consulting services, custom software development, or digital projects (rather than ready-made product licenses/SaaS). Experience from consulting, product, or tech companies where you've worked closely with development teams. An established network among digital decision-makers in the Swedish market. What We Offer You're offered a role with great responsibility and considerable freedom where you have direct influence over how we grow, which business we take on, and how we develop our offering. You'll be a key player in a flat organization with short decision paths, where commercial drive and technical excellence are closely connected. Our office is based in Stockholm, with regular meetings, events, and travel. If you think sales is as much about people as it is about numbers, and you want to work close to technology, product development, and AI in a company that builds real products, we think you'll thrive with us. Our Recruitment Process This recruitment process is handled by Academic Work, and our client requests that all questions regarding the position be sent to Academic Work. The responsible recruitment consultant is Milly ([email protected]). We conduct rolling recruitment and will remove the listing once a sufficient number of candidates have reached the final stage of the recruitment process. The recruitment process includes two selection tests: a personality test and a cognitive ability test. These tests are tools to help us find the candidate with the highest potential for the position and to promote equality, diversity, and a fair recruitment process.
