What You Actually Do This is a combined role where you will work 75% as a diabetes nurse and 25% as a nurse or district nurse. The work includes all tasks of a district nurse/nurse at a healthcare center. You will also work with an independent clinic for diabetes patients where you have your own waiting list that you call in for annual check-ups, in close collaboration with the patient's responsible physician. You meet patients with a wide range of conditions – at the clinic, digitally, and in clinical assessments. The focus here is on independent assessments, clinical responsibility, and direct patient work, not sitting in long phone queues or getting stuck in administrative triage. You are a central part of care and work both independently and in a team where both are equally important. You make medical assessments, prioritize, and drive patient cases from start to finish. You have previous professional experience from primary care in Sweden after your degree. You take responsibility and get things done. You thrive in change and see it as fun.
