Property Technician
We at The Winery Hotel in Solna are seeking an independent and service-oriented property technician responsible for ensuring that the hotel's technical systems, facilities, and pool environment operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. The role encompasses both preventive maintenance and management of acute operational problems. Basic Requirements High school education in property management, operations technology, electrical, plumbing, or equivalent competence acquired through work experience. Experience in property operations, technical maintenance, or work with technical installations. Good understanding of plumbing, ventilation, heating, and control and regulation technology. Basic knowledge of electrical systems and technical troubleshooting. Ability to read and understand technical drawings, instructions, and documentation. Good Swedish in speech and writing, as the work encompasses documentation and safety procedures. Category B driver's license. Basic digital competence and ability to work in systems for fault reporting, documentation, and follow-up. Pool Operations Experience in pool operations is highly desirable. We would like to see that the candidate has: Knowledge of filtration, pumps, circulation, heating, and chemical dosing. Understanding of pH levels, chlorine levels, sampling, and water quality. Knowledge of self-inspection, documentation, and procedures for safe pool operations. Training in pool technology or equivalent experience. Safety and Responsibility Understanding of workplace safety, risk assessments, and safe work methods. Knowledge of systematic fire safety procedures, SBA, is desirable. Ability to follow and document statutory inspections, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Willingness to work at inconvenient times if needed or participate in an on-call organization. Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is: Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented. Thorough, structured, and responsible. Practically minded and experienced in problem-solving. Service-oriented and comfortable interacting with hotel guests and colleagues. Good at prioritizing and staying calm during acute operational disruptions. Cost-conscious and committed to the hotel's quality and overall experience. Desirable Competencies Experience from hotels, spas, swimming facilities, or public swimming halls. Electrical, plumbing, or refrigeration technology competence. Lift and rigging certifications. Experience with energy monitoring, energy optimization, and energy-saving measures. Experience with building automation or monitoring systems. Experience with contractor contacts, quotation assessment, and service agreement follow-up.
