WORK TASKS As a Track Inspector, one of our tasks is to conduct inspections of our track facilities. You are responsible for safety, commissioning, and maintenance inspections. Your work tasks also include troubleshooting and handling and early correcting deviations that arise within your area of responsibility. It is varied work and we are often outdoors together in our work team. To succeed in the role of Track Inspector, it is important that you are thorough, analytical, and have a strong understanding of safety regulations and standards. You should also be a good communicator and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. The work location is Gothenburg. To begin with, you will work on the West Coast Railway West (VBK) contract, and from August 2027 also on the Western Gothenburg (VGG) contract. You have the opportunity to be flexible as weekend and night work occurs. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • Completed upper secondary education • Experience with track inspection or other tasks within the railway industry • BVÖ (Inspection Operations Review) • Certificates for Maintenance Inspection Track, Safety Inspection Track, Safety Inspection Signal cat1 & 2 • Supervisor A-, E-, L-, and S-protection • B driver's license (manual) • Meets medical requirements to be approved for safety work • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing It is meritorious if you have: • C driver's license • Authorization to operate track-bound vehicles Employment type: Permanent employment.
