Your New Job As a support assistant in companion and relief services, you make a difference in people's everyday lives by providing individually tailored support that promotes independence, participation, and security. In this role, you work both as a relief worker and a companion. As a relief worker, you support children with disabilities at home and in their immediate surroundings to provide respite for family members. As a companion, you enable people with disabilities to participate in activities and errands in society, such as doctor's visits, exercise, leisure activities, and social gatherings. You are responsible for carrying out approved services with high quality and respect for the individual's integrity and self-determination. The role also includes documentation, work based on implementation plans, and collaboration with family members, colleagues, and other important contacts. The work is largely independent, while you are part of an engaged work team with regular meetings and close collaboration. Your Expertise For the position of support assistant, a completed upper secondary education program in children and leisure with a focus on social work/pedagogical work or a care and welfare education with specialization in the disability/psychiatry area is required. Alternatively, you have other education deemed equivalent. You must be fluent in Swedish in speech, writing, and reading comprehension, as a central part of the work is your ability to communicate with citizens and family members, as well as to write documentation and read information related to the work. The work requires physical mobility, as situations may arise that cannot be anticipated and must be resolved in a manner suited to the situation. A category B driver's license for manual transmission is a requirement for the position. It is an advantage if you have experience working with people with disabilities and interest and experience working with children. Assistant Section Head

Regional Development, Energy & Community Building Section Would you like to contribute to direction, coordination, and progress in energy transition work, good urban planning, and regional development in Jönköping County? We are looking for someone who enjoys creating overview, maintaining processes, and providing others with good conditions to succeed. With us, you will have an important role close to the section head, colleagues, and collaboration partners in an operation with many assignments, projects, and development initiatives. The Role of Assistant Section Head This role does not involve personnel management, but you will have a central coordinating and leadership function in the section's work, both internally and in collaboration with other stakeholders. You will work closely with the section head and contribute to operational management, project portfolio, follow-up, working methods, and development processes. The assignment covers both the section's overall work and, with particular emphasis, the operations of Energy Office Northern Småland. In this role, you create overview, structure, and momentum in an operation with many parallel assignments. You prepare, coordinate, and follow up on matters related to management, projects, finances, operational planning, and meeting structures. Formal management decisions, personnel responsibility, work environment responsibility, and budget responsibility rest with the section head, but the role requires that you can work independently and drive processes forward within given parameters. What You Will Work With • Supporting the section head in management, planning, coordination, and follow-up. • Developing internal working methods, meeting structures, operational planning, and shared processes. • Coordinating and following up on the section's portfolio of projects and assignments together with project managers, project coordinators, controllers, and other functions. • Contributing to project initiations, project reviews, closures, resource planning, and prioritizations. • Preparing materials for internal meetings and steering groups and, as needed, representing the section or the Energy Office. Your Future Workplace You will become part of the Energy and Community Building Section within Regional Development at Region Jönköping County. Within Regional Development, we work on the county's long-term development together with municipalities, authorities, businesses, academia, and other stakeholders. Energy Office Northern Småland is a central part of the section and works with the county's stakeholders on the transition of the energy system in Jönköping County. The role therefore has a special connection to the Energy Office's operations, while also encompassing the section's overall assignments. The section's work spans the future energy system, sustainable construction, good urban planning, energy- and resource-efficient business, sustainable transport, transport infrastructure, and digital connectivity. We work through projects and assignments, process management, knowledge support, analysis, advocacy work, and collaboration. Your Profile We are looking for someone with relevant university education in, for example, social sciences, public administration, project management, urban planning, energy, environment, or another field that the employer deems relevant. You have experience in coordinating processes, projects, or development work in complex environments where multiple stakeholders, perspectives, and dependencies need to be balanced. You are experienced in creating structure, driving matters forward, and contributing to common direction even when conditions change. We would like to see experience in several of the following areas: • Operational management, operational development, or qualified management support. • Project management, project governance, or project portfolio management. • Externally financed operations, project applications, project follow-up, or work with financiers. • Public sector, regional development, or politically governed operations. • Collaboration between municipalities, regions, authorities, businesses, or other societal stakeholders. It is a merit if you have experience in energy and climate transition, urban planning, regional development, or similar matters. Subject matter expertise within our areas is valuable, but the focus is on operational management, project logic, coordination, and progress together with others. As a person, you are confident, structured, and responsive. You have a holistic perspective, build trust, identify needs early, and have good judgment when priorities need to be made. You enjoy coordinating and leading through structure, trust, and collaboration. You express yourself clearly and pedagogically in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and work digitally as a natural part of your approach.
