Job Responsibilities You will be our coordinator for the city's chemical work. Helsingborg has conducted a mapping that shows the city needs more systematic and strategic work with chemical issues. We are now establishing a new role that will lead this work forward. In this role, you are responsible for: - Developing and implementing governance documents for the city's chemical work - Introducing and managing a city-wide chemical management program - Coordinating and providing strategic guidance on the municipality's handling and use of chemicals - Conducting training initiatives and developing procedures for safe chemical handling - Supporting the city's administrations in chemical matters, for example in schools, operations and maintenance, construction and facilities, as well as cleaning and sanitation - Supporting municipal companies in CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) regarding chemicals - Providing knowledge support to the procurement unit's sustainability strategists in procurement, requirements, and contract follow-up - Collaborating with environmental and health protection case handlers and contributing chemical expertise during inspections - Monitor chemical legislation and ensure compliance - Disseminate knowledge about the impact of chemicals on the environment and human health, both within the organization and to the public - Write remittance comments within the chemical field A large part of the work takes place in collaboration with other administrations and companies in the city.
